There are a number of ways you can help out with this project!  The first, and most important, is to request the stickers, get the stickers, then stick the stickers!  (Of course we don’t condone sticking them up anywhere that will get you in trouble, so use your own best judgement!)  But there are other ways to help out as well!

Generous Donations

Sticker paper ain’t free!  Neither is postage!  It costs about $30 for a pack of 100 pages of sticker paper, which will then make 400 stickers.  Currently, this is about how many we make per week.  We generally mail out 4 stickers per request, which costs $1.05  to anywhere in the US, or about $3.50 to the rest of the world.  Three dollar postage doesn’t sound like much, but when you send out 40 of them a week, it adds up!  Of course, when people ask for a LOT of stickers, we send them a LOT of stickers, which costs a LOT to mail!

If you got any virtual money laying around collecting dust, we’d be happy to take it off your virtual hands!  Paypal us at solvestickers@gmail.com

Or if you’re worried we might spend your money on video games and vegan ice cream, mail us a roll of $1 stamps!  Or send us gift cards to office supply stores.  Maybe you work for XpedX, mail us a box of sticker paper!  We’ll take what we can get!

Make Your Own Solve Art

Who needs our stickers?  You can make your own, right?  Or a video installation, a mural, a sweater... pretty much anything!  You rock like that!  Do your own thing, then send us pictures!  We’ll gladly add them to the map!  If you make a large quantity of something (stickers, buttons, patches especially) feel free to mail them to us.  We will then include some of your work with the many packs we mail out every week.

Tell People About It

We want everyone to know the story of our friend, Solve.  He was a young, talented, enthusiastic person who died needlessly as a result of Chicago street violence.  Although he may no longer be physically with us, his creative energy will live on forever.  We want the rest of the world to harness this energy for themselves, and take their life in positive directions!  It’s up to each of us to rise above the violence and bad things in the world, and Solve is a reminder of that.  So tell your friends and family, post it on your blog, talk about it on your podcast, and help us tell this story!  We appreciate it.
